Within a PhishSim campaign you can optionally enroll phished learners in a follow-up AwareEd campaign to provide further training. This article only covers this specific workflow. For a more detailed overview of PhishSim campaign creation please see PhishSim Campaigns.
Create A Static Group
The first step is to create a static group in which learners will be enrolled after getting phished.
- Navigate to Learners > Groups.
- Select New Learner Group > Static.
- Enter a name, e.g. “Phished Learners,” and select learner(s) to be added to the group.
- Save.
Note: Static groups must have at least one member at the time of creation. If you don’t have any phished learners to add when the group is created, then add yourself to the group and then navigate to your learner profile and remove yourself from the group afterward.
Configure Your PhishSim Campaign
When creating your PhishSim campaign, enter the group above under Phished Actions. See PhishSim Campaigns for more information about the overall campaign creation process.
Create A Campaign For Training
The follow-up training will be delivered to phished learners as an AwareEd campaign. For additional details on the campaign creation process see AwareEd Campaigns. For the purpose of delivering follow-up training the important thing is to enroll your “Phished Learners” group in the campaign, and to time the campaign to coincide with the end of your PhishSim campaign. For example if your PhishSim campaign goes through the end of the week, then your follow-up campaign could begin next week.
Note: Members of your “Phished Learners” group will only get enrolled in an AwareEd campaign at the start of a new run. If learners are phished after the AwareEd campaign run starts, then they won’t get enrolled until the next run of the AwareEd campaign.
